Team Expectations

Team members are expected to:

1. Exhibit maturity,
2. Cooperate well with others,
3. Communicate clearly and effectively.
4. Vote regularly, and be active on the server.
5. Participate in meetings on Discord.

The staff team moderates and manages server functions. It is composed of members from the ranks of Helper, Moderator, and Administrator.

Helper

Age requirement: 13+

Rank requirement: Elementalist

Helpers are expected to be leaders in the community, by setting a strong behavioral example for other players. Helpers aim to be able to mediate and soothe tense situations and guide players to meaningful solutions.

Helpers excel in assisting new players with plugin resources and other helpful information to accelerate their acclimation to the server.

During updates, the staff team becomes deputized as a rag-tag bunch of bug finders - helpers are no exception! Helpers keep their eyes peeled for bugs and exploits so they can be documented and addressed by the team.

Moderator

Age requirement 16+

Rank requirement: Helper

Mods ensure the seamless operation of the server, maintaining a family-friendly environment by taking action against rule violators. Their duties include invalidating problematic auctions, monitoring and managing chat interactions, and supporting fellow staff members.

Moderators possess world edit capabilities, enabling them to assist players with placing purchased catalog builds and making simple modifications.

Mods act as a first line of defense in screening and directing inquiries or issues to the appropriate channels, ensuring that player concerns are efficiently addressed. As part of their work, they audit players, taking immediate corrective action when necessary. In doing so, moderators embody a commitment to the well-being of the player base, striving to provide support and assistance to players to the best of their abilities.

Administrator

Age requirement: 18+

Rank requirement: Moderator

Admins are well-versed in utilizing Core Protect, conducting routine ore block inspections to identify anomalies. They actively investigate any suspicious activities within the server, such as instances of griefing, stealing, hacking, trolling, or exploiting. Admins have access to a wider array of tools, allowing for the modification of regions and world-spanning rules.

In the realm of staff resources, admins play a crucial role in training staff, providing them with the necessary guidance and knowledge to tackle challenges that arise. They actively mentor these trainees, preparing them for future roles. This dual responsibility underscores the admins' commitment to fostering a skilled and capable staff team while upholding the integrity and security of the server.
